Fitpacking Cancellation and Refund Policy

We understand that plans can change, and cancellations sometimes occur for important reasons. However, in order to operate our trips successfully and fairly to all participants, we must adhere to the following cancellation and refund policies.


Deposit Policy

  • All trip deposits are non-refundable, regardless of the reason for cancellation.
  • If you cancel more than 30 days before the trip start date, your deposit may be applied as a credit toward a future trip, at Fitpacking’s sole discretion.
  • If cancellation occurs within 30 days of the trip start date, deposits cannot be credited or transferred under any circumstances.




Cancellation Refund Policy

  • If you cancel 30 days or more prior to the first day of the trip and have paid in full, we will refund the total amount minus the non-refundable deposit.
  • If you cancel fewer than 30 days before the first day of the trip, no refunds will be issued under any circumstances.



No Refund After Trip Start

  • Once a trip has begun, no portion of the trip cost or deposit is refundable, regardless of the reason for departure or removal from the trip.


Early Departure or Evacuation

  • If a participant must leave a trip early due to a personal emergency, Fitpacking may allow a portion of the unused trip cost to be applied to a future trip, at its sole discretion.
  • If a participant chooses to leave a trip for non-emergency reasons, they do so at their own expense and forfeit all fees paid.
  • In the case of emergency evacuations, participants are responsible for all associated costs, including transportation, logistics, medical expenses and any additional accommodations. Guides will assist in arranging evacuations when necessary.




Force Majeure (Unforeseen Circumstances)

  • Fitpacking is not responsible for cancellations caused by force majeure events, including but not limited to: natural disasters, pandemics, war, travel bans, or government-imposed restrictions.
  • If such an event causes you to cancel, no refund is guaranteed. Fitpacking may, at its discretion, allow a credit toward a future trip.
  • If such an event causes Fitpacking to cancel, we will make every effort to apply your full payment to a future trip. However, refunds are not guaranteed.

 




 Trip Insurance (Highly Recommended)

We strongly recommend purchasing comprehensive trip insurance to protect your investment. Insurance can cover situations such as illness, injury, family emergencies, travel delays, and other unexpected events.

Note: All refund decisions, deposit credits, and exceptions are made at the sole discretion of Fitpacking. By registering for a trip, you agree to these terms.
